CORE TECHNOLOGY

Wide Working Angle

FLEXWAVE’s waveguide modules can collect a wider angle of incident light than traditional solar modules. Even at 60 degrees, FLEXWAVE’s modules can still deliver 80% power, whereas traditional modules contribute less than 50% power. Our modules work without the need for expensive sun-tracking systems. Additionally, they even collect and convert diffused light sources into power.

The waveguide PV modules, crafted from soft ELASTIC materials, offer remarkable flexibility, enabling versatile shapes tailored to customer needs. This design freedom not only enhances the aesthetics of our products but also brings solar energy closer to people’s daily lives. The flexibility extends to resilience, ensuring the edged-solar cells remain unaffected and protected even with repeated bending. Our modules accommodate various solar cell types, providing cost and design advantages based on your indoor or outdoor installation requirements.

Wavelength Tunable

The wavelength of incidental light can be tuned to fit better absorption regions on the solar cells and provide higher power output, or to match specific customer requirements.

This makes for a broad spectrum of transparent and colorful solar module possibilities.
