The development of smart wearables was suffered from the problems of short battery life and charging too frequently, resulting in inconvenience user experience. Flexwave can solve this problem. By using our unique waveguiding material, we built solar rubber-like watch band. Our solar watch band has unlimited banding times since we made from rubber-like material.

Ripple- the most advanced PV watchband for smart watch

Ripple is a watchband that uses solar energy to power one of the hottest smartwatch brands, the Pebble Time.

Ripple can support 13 hours of battery life with just one hour of sunshine. It’s actually more convenient for users to charge their smartwatches on-the-go without taking them off. Just add sunlight, no plugs or any other power source needed.

On this project, we partnered with Gixia Design Group, a premier design studio in Taiwan, and proved the concept of charging wearable devices to be viable.
